I am passionate about God and photography. I believe God has called me to serve others with the gift of photography.

I watched my uncle become an awesome photographer and gradually caught the "shutterbug" fever. I bought my first camera when I was 17 years old (it me took 3 months to get it out of layaway) and read every book I could find. I am 100% self-taught and function on 100% God-given talent. I started out with 35mm film and took a 10+ year hiatus to finish my formal education. In 2002, my only child was born and I felt I had to capture EVERY moment. In 2003, I was given a digital point-and-shoot and quickly made the decision to jump into the digital era FEET FIRST! After buying my first digital SLR, a dear friend asked me to photograph her child and INSTANTLY, God was in my face... yelling, "shoot, child, shoot"! He reminded me that many families don't have precious photographic memories and told me to do something to help change this fact.

Thus, Images of Him Photography was born. My creativity and passion were unleashed! I look at every photo shoot as an opportunity to capture the "true" spirit of each person in the shoot. My desire is to capture those moments in which you can literally "see" the personality of whomever is in the frame. I want to make my subjects as tangible as possible... so that when they are finally called Home, their living legacy can still be "seen" and "felt" here on earth.
